The discrepancy between the plow width and tractor leads to asymmetry of plowing units. geometry plowshare surface moldboard contributes generation lateral forces on working tool. All this imbalance tool deviation from straight-line movement during plowing. To maintain movement, driver has adjust machine every 5-10 meters, which is highly tiresome. study causes slips unit, we constructed a mathematical model, consists equations controlled tractor's uncontrolled shear under action external plow. description force interaction drive with ground based theory friction, taking into account anisotropy elastic properties in contact. Based passive hodograph diagram maximum side We found that reaches its friction value only case translational shear, when line passes through center gravity. In all other cases, shift (slip) caused by lower force. formulated features assumptions model as applied caterpillar wheeled tractors. As result, that, regardless direction displacement plow's traction resistance, slipped towards plowed field. result numerical experiment showed main reason for slip unit difference soils along sides but not resistance.
